Chair of Geomechanics and Geosystems Engineering
The Geomechanics group is a part of the Institute for Geotechnical Engineering (IGT) in the Department of the Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering (D-BAUG) of ETH Zurich. We are engaged in teaching, research and consulting in the fields of geotechnical engineering, geo-eco-hazards, geotechnical sensor technologies and transportational geotechnics.
The group is also closely affiliated with the Clay Mineralogy Lab of IGT.
